The nelfood.com Story

nelfood.com grew out of the Physical Properties of Food DataBase project.
This project was initiated to collect and make available on the internet reliable and useful data on Physical Properties of Foods.
The project was part funded by the EU, received commercial sponsorship from Nestle, RHM and Unilever, was managed by Dr Paul Nesvadba, and the internet work was done by NEL.

Bibliographic Search Results
The results of the Bibliographic Search are displayed in a table ordered by newest references first.
The id number of the reference, the author / editor, the title, and the publication date are all displayed.
An icon indicating the presence of associated materials and experiments is also displayed for each search result.
A sample results set is shown below - some of the entries have been removed for clarity on screen.
The table is split into pages of 10 results each, with a page navigation system included at the table's base.
Additionally, the legend for the associated documents icons and a link to perform a new search is also included at the base of the table.
