The nelfood.com Story

nelfood.com grew out of the Physical Properties of Food DataBase project.
This project was initiated to collect and make available on the internet reliable and useful data on Physical Properties of Foods.
The project was part funded by the EU, received commercial sponsership from Nestle, RHM and Unilever, was managed by Dr Paul Nesvadba, and the internet work was done by NEL.

Direct Jumps
In addition to performing searches, the website provides a mechanism to move
directly to a bibliographic, material or experimental data record immediately.
This examples shows the Bibliographic Pinpointer, but all three tools work in an identical fashion.
The user enters the id number of the reference that they are interested in and presses the Go button. This takes them directly to the specified reference or displays and error message.
