The nelfood.com Story
nelfood.com grew out of the Physical Properties of Food DataBase project.
This project was initiated to collect and make available on the internet reliable and useful data on Physical Properties of Foods.
The project was part funded by the EU, received commercial sponsership from Nestle, RHM and Unilever, was managed by Dr Paul Nesvadba, and the internet work was done by NEL.

Experimental Data

This page displays the experimental data for the specified experiment.
The page is in three parts:

The first part provides a summary of the experiment's details. A link to the full details is provided along with links to the parent material amd the governing bibliographic reference.

The second part contains a table displaying the experimental data matrix:

If the user has sufficient permissions for the data set, this matrix appears in an editable form allowing data values to be changed and data rows to be added and removed.

The third part contains a graph of the data:

Depending on the data matrix, differing plot options are available for the graph.
In addition to changing which columns make up which axes, right clickking on the graph allows the graph to be further customised.
