The nelfood.com Story

nelfood.com grew out of the Physical Properties of Food DataBase project.
This project was initiated to collect and make available on the internet reliable and useful data on Physical Properties of Foods.
The project was part funded by the EU, received commercial sponsership from Nestle, RHM and Unilever, was managed by Dr Paul Nesvadba, and the internet work was done by NEL.

Personal Details
Once you have registered with the website, your details are added into the users database.
It is each user's responsibility to keep their personal details accurate and up to date.
Summary information is available by selecting the Personal Details navigation item:
In order to change any details you will need to confirm your identity.
This is done by completing the displayed form. You will note thqt this form has already had the username prefilled by the system.
Once the system has approved your authority to modify the details, you will be moved to the update form:
Users are not alowed to modify some items and these appear disabled in the form.
After changing what is required, select Save / Confirm to save and exit, Reset to undo your changes or Cancel / Leave to cancel the update.
Users are periodically remined to check and update their details.
