The nelfood.com Story
nelfood.com grew out of the Physical Properties of Food DataBase project.
This project was initiated to collect and make available on the internet reliable and useful data on Physical Properties of Foods.
The project was part funded by the EU, received commercial sponsership from Nestle, RHM and Unilever, was managed by Dr Paul Nesvadba, and the internet work was done by NEL.

Table 2 Mapping

Table 2 contained all of the Literature Reference details for the document containing the food property data. All elements of this table are now entered on the Literature Reference Details Table.

Note: The Reference identification number RIN is generated by the database and is stored in the ID field. The Accession Number FSTA AN is not recorded in the database. If required, this value can be entered into the remarks field.
