nelfood.com grew out of the Physical Properties of Food DataBase project. This project was initiated to collect and make available on the internet reliable and useful data on Physical Properties of Foods. The project was part funded by the EU, received commercial sponsership from Nestle, RHM and Unilever, was managed by Dr Paul Nesvadba, and the internet work was done by NEL. For more information...

Table 6 Mapping
Table 6 records the name and units of the properties being reported from the document.
In light of the changes to Table 5, this table
is now covered in 3 stages:
- The properties that are being recorded are selected from the list of
available properties that is displayed. As the property units are attached to
the property, ensure that the combination of property and unit is correct for
all selected properties. When you are sure that the properties and units are
correct, press the Click here to proceed button to move to the next
screen.
- After pressing the Click here to proceed button, a list of the
selected properties is displayed. From this list select what the proforma calls
Independent Variable No. 1. Only one variable is allowed to be selected
from this list. When you have selected the independent variable, press the
Click here to proceed button to move to the data entry form.
- The data entry aspect of the Matrix of Values part of Table 6 is handled by the Matrix of Values Data.
